Taylor Swift’s Spectacular Expansion: 14 More Concerts Announced Across Europe and the UK

On the morning of July 5, Swift announced the new shows on social media, saying that she “really can’t hide” her joy at holding more shows and touring with Paramore, the band. music opened its first two shows in the United States.

New shows will take place in Paris, France, Gelsenkirchen, Germany and Lisbon, Portugal.

The Eras tour sold out stadiums – with an average price of just over $250 – for multiple nights in cities across the United States, besting Harry Styles, rock legends Bruce Springsteen and Elton John. to become the biggest tour ever.

Pollstar magazine estimates that Eras could bring in $1.4 billion – “a staggering, unbelievable, unimaginable total” – after the tour ends in August 2024. According to previous plans, Swift held 131 shows during the Eras Tour .  

Forbes estimated Swift’s net worth at $740 million as of June 1, placing her at number 34 on its list of Self-Made Women in the United States.

The Eras Tour is currently running in the United States with 52 shows. Many fans spent thousands of dollars to see Swift perform live on her first tour in years. As of July 5, resale tickets for Swift’s concert taking place on July 7 have a starting price of $1,801 on SeatGeek.

In November, ticket sales for this tour encountered problems on Ticketmaster’s website. The website crashed during ticket sales before the event was held, so sales were temporarily suspended. Since that time, lawmakers and President Joe Biden have called on Congress to quickly introduce price limits so that more Americans can buy tickets to concerts.
