2023 is an extremely special year for football fans because it is the first year that marks the absence of two stars Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo in the UEFA Champions League arena. Ronaldo went to play in the Saudi Pro League, while Messi chose Inter Miami, an MLS team, as a destination for the final years of his career.

Although no longer in their peak years, this duo’s achievements are still very respectable. Ronaldo is still the Arab top scorer, and with Messi, he won the World Cup, the only title the Argentine star lacks in his collection.
