Taylor Swift dropped in on Instagram on Tuesday to get her fans excited for her imminent 1989 (Taylor’s Version) release.
The 33-year-old music sensation — who is romancing Travis Kelce — used the app’s Stories feature to post a photo of a notebook with handwritten lyrics.
She included a pre-save link for the album, writing, ‘1989 (my version) in 3 days!!!’
The lyrics read: ‘Let’s fast forward to 300 takeout coffees later / I see your profile and your smile on unsuspecting waiters.’
Although the songstress did not reveal which song the lines belong to, fans have guessed they are from one of ‘the vault’ tracks.
1989 (Taylor’s Version) will comes out on October 27 with all 16 original songs, plus bonus tunes.
It was also announced that the project will include ‘vault’ tracks Is It Over Now?, Now That We Don’t Talk, Say Don’t Go, Slut! and Suburban Legends.
Taylor announced she would be re-releasing the album in August, as part of her effort to reclaim rights to her music after her catalogue was sold to Scooter Braun.
The superstar broke the news at her Los Angeles gig over the summer, sharing that it would arrive in October and feature five new tracks.
Unveiling the album cover on her Instagram page after the show, Taylor gushed that it is ‘my most FAVORITE re-record I’ve ever done because the 5 From The Vault tracks are so insane. I can’t believe they were ever left behind.’
The 2014 album, which originally featured 13 songs on the standard version and 16 songs on the deluxe edition, includes her hit singles Shake It Off and Blank Space.
She also wrote on Instagram in August: ‘Surprise!! 1989 Taylor’s Version is on its way to you. The 1989 album changed my life in countless ways, and it fills me with such excitement to announce that my version of it will be out October 27th.’
Taylor has been remaking her earlier albums since a dispute with her old label Big Machine Records, who sold her music to Braun.
She announced the undertaking back in 2019, and her previous ‘Taylor’s Version’ music has done well.
Fearless (Taylor’s Version), Red (Taylor’s Version), and Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) all made it to number one on the Billboard 200.
Taylor was active on social media on Monday as she shared a new post with frequent collaborator Jack Antonoff.
The two recorded an enthusiastic video in which they screamed over each other while sharing that their collaboration Cruel Summer, off her seventh studio album Lover, has become a Hot 100 #1.
Antonoff said in the clip, ‘It really means the world’ while Taylor added, ‘We love you guys.’
She captioned the post, which has collected more than six million likes, ‘IT’S COOL.’
Swift has been enjoying a whirlwind romance with NFL star Travis Kelce, who parted ways on Tuesday after spending the weekend together.
DailyMail.com saw the popstar boarding a private jet in Kansas City after spending a few nights at the tight-end’s home, going to an intimate dinner, cheering him on at the Kansas City Chiefs game, and celebrating his win.
Three bodyguards were seen loading Taylor’s blue suitcase in an SUV in front of Travis’ house.
A short time later she was seen in a red sweatshirt boarding the plane and was shielded by a security guard holding an umbrella.
