The intention of taking a dog to a shelter is always to improve its living conditions. The hope is that he will be fed and receive all the love and help needed to recover, and hopefully be placed in a new home when he is ready.

In fact, this was the intention of some volunteers when taking a puppy off the streets in Ukraine. But, his story has left everyone surprised by the incredible move that destiny had in store.

The little dog wandered for years in the solitude of the streets, missing his family very much.

The volunteers at the animal shelter found a stray dog ​​who looked like he hadn’t been treated well by life in recent years.

His sad look, his weak body, hidden in a huge darkened wool coat were evidence of how unkind his life had been.

The portrait of the animal during the rescue scene was really pitiful, the volunteers knew that they should give it a better life.

That’s why they fed him, cleaned him, and underwent a medical check-up to confirm his state of health.

The initial idea was that the little animal could recover to begin its adoption process and find a home where it could rebuild its life with love.

But, although it rarely happens, a spokesperson published the images of the animal before it was fully recovered.

His face and crestfallen look moved more than one on the networks and his story went viral.

Hundreds of people shared images of the melancholic animal. At that point the phenomenon of the networks seems to have performed a true miracle, because to everyone’s surprise, a woman in tears contacted the shelter absolutely anxious and interested in the animal.

It was not just any woman, it was a resident who claimed that the rescued dog was her beloved pet that had been stolen from her yard in 2017.

“She had been looking for her dog for five years. But could this be her lost puppy?” said Galina Lekunova, a worker at the shelter.

The moved woman had to clear her doubts no matter what.

The local volunteers had their concerns but did not refuse the possibility of an interview, given the insistence and confidence with which the woman spoke.

The lady claimed to have recognized him by his drooping eyes and his particular look.

On this occasion and as incredible or improbable as it may seem, the miracle of reunion occurred. 

Indeed, the little animal had been stolen when it was just a puppy but years later it was reunited with the mother who had made it so happy in its first years of life.

The volunteers and everyone in the shelter could not help but put their hands to their mouths and remain with moist eyes as they witnessed such a coincidence of fate, and saw that in the end life smiled on the long-suffering dog and its true owner.

We cannot imagine what kind of person can take a small animal from their home and separate it from its family so that it ends up wandering the streets unprotected.

Surely they were very difficult years for the little animal, but it is enough to see his happiness when he saw his mother to know that he will be better.

This little one did not need to start in a new home because destiny was responsible for taking him to the place from which he should never have been removed.

There are many little animals roaming the world but just as in this case, sometimes reporting helps make these kinds of miracles possible.
