In a new interview on Capital XTRA, JID briefly talked about his new song “Animals Pt.1” with Eminem from GDLU (Preluxe) EP which dropped last month.
“The song is like a cold plunge. I sent the beat. I go. He goes. I was like ‘damn bro you rapped a long time’ so I added some.” said JID.
Then he continued: “Bro’s amazing. And it’s just great to have like mixtape Em. Everybody is caught up on albums and all the stuff. It’s good to have like, freer. A different realm of hearing and older artist in his greatness still. Just super respect for him for giving me an opportunity.”
