Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly Announce Pregnancy Following Heartbreaking Loss

Actress Megan Fox shared joyful news on Monday, November 11, announcing her pregnancy with fiancé Machine Gun Kelly just one year after revealing in her poetry book Pretty Boys Are Poisonous that the couple had experienced a tragic loss.

Fox took to Instagram to share a moving maternity photo, captioned, “Nothing is ever really lost. Welcome back 👼🏼❤️.” In the striking image, Fox posed covered in a black, paint-like substance from her neck to her feet, cradling her growing bump with one hand as she knelt in what appeared to be black puddles. The second photo was a close-up of a pregnancy test reading “YES+,” symbolizing the hopeful new chapter for the couple.

Last year, in her book of poems published in November 2023, Fox wrote about the deep sorrow of losing a pregnancy. In one emotional excerpt, she shared, “There is an ultrasound by your side of the bed, 10 weeks and 1 day … do you think that if she could have, she would have left a suicide note?” Reflecting on her pain, she added, “Now I have to say goodbye… I imagine holding you tight against my chest as they rip you from my insides. I would pay any price—tell me, please, what is the ransom for her soul?”

In a November 2023 appearance on Good Morning America, Fox revealed that the experience of loss was extremely challenging for both her and Kelly. She noted, “It sent us on a very wild journey together and separately, and together and apart… trying to navigate, ‘What does this mean? Why did this happen?’” She also shared that this experience was particularly intense due to her history with an ectopic pregnancy.

Machine Gun Kelly, too, expressed his grief through his music, including a line in his song “Don’t Let Me Go”: “How do I live with the fact that my hand wasn’t on her stomach when we lost the baby?”

Fox, who also shares three sons—Noah, Bodhi, and Journey—with her ex-husband Brian Austin Green, expressed gratitude for the support she’s received. As she embarks on this new chapter with Kelly, the couple is embracing their journey with renewed hope and resilience, thankful for their growing family.
