MARIN SHIPPING CONTAINER HOUSE

This gorgeously designed shipping container home is located in Mill Valley, Marin County, California. The creativity in the architectural design of this house designed by California-based Studio KfA is magnificent.

Built using the topography of the land, this house was built using recycled shipping containers. This way it is built faster, cheaper and more effectively.

A pair of 20×8-foot shipping containers are placed parallel to each other with a 4-foot padding space between them forming a 20×20-foot space. Built using a total of 8 shipping containers, this house has 3 deck areas.

When we enter the interior of the house, one of the most beautiful examples of modern design welcomes us. In this house with 1440 m2 interior living space, a spacious atmosphere is created inside the house by using floor-to-ceiling glass windows.

On the ground floor of the house there are bedrooms, bathrooms and storage. The middle floor, where the entrance section is located, is an open space covered the entire length of the building with the main living area and porch. On the top floor there is the kitchen and dining area.
