Kylie Jenner has become the youngest billionaire in the world thanks to her own efforts, according to the 2019 list of billionaires recently compiled and published by Forbes.
The youngest member of the Kardashian family is making a fortune from the cosmetics business.
The 21-year-old founded and owns Kylie Cosmetics, a three-year-old beauty business that had an estimated revenue of $360 million last year.

She achieved this milestone earlier than Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg, who became a billionaire at the age of 23.
“I don’t expect anything. I don’t predict the future.
“But [this recognition makes me] feel really good. It’s an encouragement,” Ms. Jenner told Forbes.

His total net worth is now $131 billion, according to Forbes, an increase of $19 billion from 2018.
But the total wealth of billionaires fell from $9.1 trillion to $8.7 million.
Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg is among the billionaires whose fortunes have declined.
Mark Zuckerberg’s wealth has dropped from $8.7 billion over the past year.
Zuckerberg’s shares in Facebook at one point lost a third of their value as the company struggled with privacy scandals.
Amazon’s stock price is favorable to Mr. Bezos’s bank account and the gap between him and the world’s second-richest billionaire, Bill Gates, has widened a bit, even though Mr. Gates’ wealth has increased to 96,000. $5 billion from $90 billion last year.
On this list there are only 252 women, and the richest self-made female billionaire is Chinese real estate tycoon Wu Yajun, whose assets are estimated at $9.4 billion.
Self-made female billionaires reached 72 for the first time, up from 56 last year.
Forbes’ list of billionaires was compiled on February 8. The magazine collects stock prices and exchange rates that day from around the world.
According to Forbes, the number of billionaires is down, with 2,153 people on the 2019 list, compared to 2,208 in 2018. This, in part, explains why the average total net worth of billionaires is $4 billion, down from $4.1 billion. Forbes also points out that there are 994 billionaires who are ‘poorer’ than a year ago.
“Even when there are turbulence, resourceful and determined entrepreneurs will constantly find new ways to get rich,” said Luisa Kroll, editorial assistant at Forbes.

There are 52 British citizens on the list. At the helm are the Hinduja brothers, Srichand and Gopichand, who run the Hinduja group, with a net worth of $16.9 billion.
Behind them, on the list of Britain’s richest billionaires, is James Ratcliffe, founder of chemical corporation Ineos, with assets worth $12.1 billion.

Another new billionaire is Safra Catz, chief executive of software company Oracle, who earns a salary of $41 million and ranks as one of the highest-paid female executives in the world, according to Forbes.
The US is the country with the most billionaires in the world, 607. China is second with 324 billionaires. But the list of Chinese billionaires has some big changes with 44 new people entering while 102 people ‘dropped’.
The weakness of the euro affects European billionaires, leaving only two in the top 20: Bernard Arnault (ranked 4th) – CEO of French luxury goods company LVMH, and Amancio Ortega (ranked 4th) ranked 6th) – founder of retail group Inditex, which owns brands such as Zara.
Forbes said 247 people on last year’s billionaires list ‘fell out’. Among them are Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana, fashion designers and co-founders of Dolce & Gabbana.
Chairman of the group that owns the companies that manage the Li & Fung retail chain, Victor Fung, is no longer ranked by Forbes this year, after being on the list for 18 consecutive years.
